What can I expect at the appointment?

An examination will follow where you will be asked to perform some simple movements before resting on the treatment table. An osteopath aims to restore mobility. Treatment consists of gentle rhythmic stretching, massage type treatment and sometimes manipulation of joints.

What should I wear to my treatment?

In order to perform a thorough examination it is necessary to see the affected areas and test adjacent or distant joints or muscles. It is therefore recommended that you wear shorts or underwear in which you feel comfortable to be examined and treated. Dignity of the patient is considered at all times.
